Keir Starmer’s psychopathically cold and aggressive reaction to the natural anger and outrage at the stabbing to death of three young girls by a Rwandan migrant in Southport demonstrates that he is above all a prosecutor, whose instinctive reaction to political opponents is to use what he sadistically calls ‘the full force of the law’ to silence them. As Stephen Baskerville explains this week, another major political figure has risen to power within the new prosecutorial state, precisely by devoting her career to putting people in prison - Kamala Harris.

As Carl Benjamin explains, the particularly nasty way Starmer attacked those reacting to the stabbing of young girls (which has now been completely forgotten about, as the only danger peddled by the media is that of the ‘far right’) comes from his hatred of his own Englishness. He is thus typical of the liberal elite. Starmer was once asked whether he preferred Westminster or Davos: he replied ‘Davos’ without hesitation, denouncing Westminster – the most emblematic Parliament in the world, and a model throughout the centuries which has been emulated across the globe – as nothing but a provincial talking shop. It is the specific moralism of the globalists which is so unbearable. They deploy the powers of the state against ordinary people precisely to preserve their own insufferable sense of superiority.

Nowhere was the contempt of elites for ordinary people clearer than in the opening ceremony of the Olympic games in Paris. A clique of metropolitan globalists decided, in the most spectacular way, gratuitously to insult billions of people around the world in an excruciatingly long and megalomaniac ceremony, which was designed to last until after nightfall when the goblins and devils came out to play. The mechanical horseman of the Apocalypse galloping down the Seine, and the children being transported by Death across a river, were only a few of the sinister images concocted by these perverts.
